The tangerine is a part of the orange family of fruits, this oddly unimportant fruit may become one of the most important fruits you know. In a recent study tangerines were found to lower a person's cholosterol levels and help with weight loss. In addition to regular exercise and a healthy diet, tangerines can amplify the effects of your weight loss goals. Tangerines can also help prevent the onset of certain illnesses such as type one and type two diabetes. Although, tangerines aren't the magical cure to weight loss, lowering your cholesterol, and preventing diabetes, it can really help improve your probability of achieving these results.

Tangerines can also provide the Vitamin C necessary for your body to function, so the next time you crave something sweet take a tangerine. Not only is a tangerine a better choice than something like chocolate, it can provide you with key Vitamins and minerals as well as help improve your health and achieve your weight loss goals.
